Arizona Conference & then end of February Project Life.

Finally I can say I am done with the month of February. I can also say it feels good to have two months under my Project Life belt documented.
So back towards the end of February I went to a
Von Willebrand Conference.
Getting to Arizona from Michigan was a huge challenge with a snow storm in the way and a few cancelled flights, missing flights I some how made it to Arizona in one piece and was able to enjoy the weather and most importantly the conference. I have many photos here and added a few embellishments here and there.

Who wouldn't love having a resort accomidations when staying in Arizona? I know I loved it and enjoyed every minute of my awesome room and views.

I used a few of the Becky Higgins 12x6 inserts for info that I got when I was at the conference and I also added the itinerary booklet as well. This view shows the front and back of this particular insert.

One of the coolest things the organization did on our last night was host a western style dinner with all the fixins and line dancing lessons. My favorite was the make your own s'more buffet. Supper fun and super yummy.

One of the coolest things about this trip was I had a friend who was with me during this fabulous conference. Deena is actually the one who told me about this all expensed paid trip sponsored by CSL Behring and put on by the Arizona Hemophilia Association.
I will be linking up to The Mom Creative and so if your looking to start project life or just want to see what others are doing head over to her blog.

Project Life - Continued February Progress

Photobucket

Steadily working on February's Project Life. I had a few odds and ends to document this month. My boss has been gone a full year now. She passed last February of Cancer and since then life has not been the same. This was the first time I went to her burial site.

Ethan gets these cute little notes from Ms. Sarah when he is good and so I thought they would fit perfect in PL.

This is just a close up of the site where my boss has been laid to rest. I tookd a dozen roses to lay. The roses were wrapped in a red and silver glittered material and I had cut part of it to add to the PL layout.

My cousins son Isaiah's Angry Birds party was a blast. He and Ethan actually share a birthday. We had Ethan's party a different day which was great for us so that we could attend Isaiah's. The details of this party were fabulous. My cousin Julia is just so creative and detailed. She actually is thinking of starting a side party planning buisness doing this.

I used one of Cathy Z's templates to combined a few photos into a 4x6 layout.

The brush used on this photo of the kids playing a game is also a Cathy Zielske brush.

I really like that you can trim down some of the plastics to fit your photos.

Taking photos of your own children in a studio setting is

much harder than most think. I know my fellow photographer

friends can relate.

Here are a few of favorites from the session.

So this is my first time trying out Project Life and I think I am really diggin it. I'm not doing the layouts weekly like most people. I am doing this all monthly since I take so many photos and it's so hard to narrow them down and commit to sitting down and doing weekly spreads. I'm not one for much words on my blog and it has been forever since I have blogged. I apologize. I hope to do more and post more. If you have any questions on how to get started with project life or what it really is send me a message or check out Project Life via YouTube or simply by going to Becky Higgin's website.

I'm linking up through The Mom Creative Check out her blog for more Project Life ideas.
